Simply find a class you would like to take on the list below, find a friend to take it with you and give us a call.  We'll put the class on your calendar at times that are convenient for you.

FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAM

When you buy a Frequent Flyer Card for $50.00  you may take one or more of the classes on the current schedule without paying a class fee. 

  BASICS I -  Piecing
Whether you are brand new to quilting or have some experience, focusing on the basic skills can make your quilting experience more efficient and enjoyable.  Let us show you the proper way to use a rotary cutter and 24" ruler.  Learn about fabric selection and preparation, grain line and 1/4" seam allowances.  Our class project will be a 40" x 40" sampler designed by Linda Barnes, incorporating five traditional quilt blocks.

IT'S A WRAP    This technique is the greatest thing since sliced bread!  By wrapping strips of fabric around cotton cording and then sewing the wrapped cord with a zigzag stitch, you can make hot plates, bowls, bags and boxes.  You should be able to finish a project in the three hour class.  Instructor - Julia Philipson  Class fee - $30.00 (includes cording).   One two-hour session Instructor - Julia PHilipson Fee - $30.00 (includes piping)

TOOTHBRUSH RUGS Use your "ugly" fabrics to make these washable, reversible rugs.  One two-hour session.  Instructor - Linda Barnes.  Fee - $30 (includes tool and pattern.)
ELEGANT JACKET Lined and embellished - a sophisticated alternative to the sweatshirt jacket.  Two two-hour sessions.  Instructor - Donna Simonds.  Fee - $30.
STASH BUSTER Use our packets of fabrics and add fabrics from your stash to make this charming Thangles quilt.  Two three-hour sessions.  Instructor - Julia Philipson.  Fee - $45.
BARGELLO QUILT Two colorways - a floral fantasy and a wavy, water quilt.  Three three-hour sessions.  Instructor - Linda Barnes.  Fee - $65.	Picture to Follow
ON THE TOWN BAG A sophisticated purse with a textured panel.  Two three-hour sessions.  Instructor - Linda Barnes.  Fee - $45.
TRAIL OF BROKEN DISHES Designed by Julia Philipson, this quilt uses traditional blues, reds, and off-whites.  Think how nice it will look on your porch or deck on the Fourth of July. Three three-hour sessions.  Instructor - Julia Philipson.  Fee - $65.
QUILTER'S WALLET Two two-hour sessions Instructor - Julia Philipson  Class fee - $30
HAND APPLIQUE Learn a fast and easy hand applique technique taught by the Baltimore Album Society.  The New Hampshire state bird is featured in this piece. Two two-hour sessions.  Instructor - Linda Barnes  Fee - $30.
